Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya and inaugurate several projects investing more than Rs 15,000 crore. Ahead of his visit, the Prime Minister said his government has resolved to create world-class infrastructure in the city.
The Prime Minister will also keynote the new Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains and at 12:15 pm, he will unveil the newly built Ayodhya airport. “Our government is certain to create world-class infrastructure, improve connectivity and save the prosperity of Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram. In this path, I will inaugurate the newly built airport and renovated railway station tomorrow. At the same time, I will also be proud to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many more development projects that will ease the lives of my family members in many areas of the country including Ayodhya and UP,” PM Modi wrote in a Hindi speech.
The day will culminate in a public event in which PM Modi will inaugurate several development projects at 1 pm, the total value of which is over Rs 15,000 crore. Of these, Rs 11,100 crore includes dedicated aspects for monetary creation, and in addition, Rs 4,600 crore worth of projects that will target various sectors of Uttar Pradesh.
Other projects include a medical college, Ayodhya bypass, a solid waste treatment, and five parking and commercial facilities. The holy city has been decorated with flowers, murals, and heavy security arrangements to welcome the Prime Minister. Huge posters with Modi’s images have been put up at prominent places here, while cut-outs of Lord Ram have been placed outside the renovated railway station.
By noon, heavy security arrangements have been made at Ram Path, located about 15 km from Ayodhya airport. Devotional songs were being played for Lord Ram here on Saturday morning, while the sound of bells being rung and sacred mantras being chanted could be felt in many temples.
“The Prime Minister is expected to reach Ayodhya Airport at around 10.45 am. After landing at the airport, he will inaugurate the rebuilt Ayodhya Railway Station. He will then return to the airport, inaugurate the newly built airport and then ‘ Will address the ‘Jan Sabha’ (public rally),” Ayodhya Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal told PTI on Friday.
1.5 lakh people are expected to gather for the rally, which will last for about an hour, after which the Prime Minister will depart from Ayodhya, he added.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s office said in a statement on Friday that during PM Modi’s visit, more than 1,400 artistes and cultural programs will be performed on 40 stages between airport and the railway station. .
